Tri-ing to find a cure
Welcome family and friends!
In case you are unaware, I am currently training for the King’s Trail Triathlon which takes place in Hawaii on June 13, 2004. The purpose of this web page is to provide a forum for all of you potential fund-donators to track my progress as we edge closer to race day. If you found your way here, you are hopefully looking for updates about my training, or simply looking to donate to an amazing cause. To that, I say thank you! The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a national voluntary health agency dedicated to curing leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and to improving the quality of life of patients and their families. The Society was established in 1949 as The de Villiers Foundation. In 2000, the Society changed its name from The Leukemia Society of America to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to emphasize its commitment to fighting all blood cancers. Today, the Society supports the following major programs: research, patient services, public and professional education, advocacy and community services. |
